Speaker: Tim Higashi, John Budd, and Lisa Vura-Weis

Organization: BCG

Date: May 17, 2024

Description

Governments are increasingly asked to do more with less. Amidst these rising constituent needs and expectations, we are also in a time of unprecedented economic uncertainty. With all that is happening, how can governments fund strategic "hot topic" initiatives and continue delivering against needs?

This presentation delves into common inefficiencies within government operations, methods for identifying these inefficiencies, and explores sustainable solutions. Through real-life examples shared by our state partners, participants will gain a deeper understanding of similar challenges and innovative solutions. The session incorporated interactive elements such as live polls and discussions, which enabled attendees to share and learn from peer strategies and close with tactical suggestions to drive efficiencies in both the short- and long-term.
