Distinguished Deputy Award
The Distinguished Deputy Award was established to recognize a deputy of a state chief administrator for outstanding contributions of the work of state administration.

Submission deadline is July 15, 2024.

Nominees must currently serve as a deputy director or a member of the senior leadership/executive team of the Chief Administrator's Office. (state CAO not eligible)
All senior leaders and department staff are eligible to nominate a current deputy/senior leader.
Nominees for this award must be a current member of NASCA (i.e. the state).

The Distinguished Deputy Award shall be awarded for either a single significant achievement or a career of accomplishments that have had a significant, positive impact on the award recipient’s state.
In the case of a single achievement, the accomplishment must be a notable project which has had a major positive impact on the administration of the state.
In the case of a career of accomplishments, the career achievements must have had a cumulative significant positive impact on the administration of the state.
