Bob Blair, Director
Ohio Department of Administrative Services

"Six plus years ago when I was named Director of Ohio Administrative Services I found myself a member of the National Association of Chief Administrators. I didn’t realize at the time how important this relationship was, however, years later I am certainly glad I continued Ohio’s relationship with NASCA.  Knowing what other states are facing and being able to inform both our legislature and Governor of their activities has allowed us be more successful in our projects. Building relationships with other states has been beneficial to understand how to shape policies and manage projects avoiding  mistakes and taking wrong directions.”

Chris Liu, NASCA President and Director

Washington Department of Enterprise Services

“It is our goal at NASCA to bring together state general services professionals from the 50 states to develop creative and timely solutions to issues facing the states. As a non-profit association, formed in 1976, we provide members with the knowledge and the tools for effectiveness and efficiency in state government administration through education, networking, and information exchange on state government trends, leading edge innovations, standards, and best practices.”
